ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's outdoor track and field team had its final tune-up before the MIAA Championship meet this weekend at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet.
Zenaida Sackett set a PR in the 800m at 2:25.82, finishing 12th out of 31 runners.
The Hornets had a pair of hurdlers break personal records, with Sammie Carpentier running a 17.23 100m hurdles and Grace Murphy running the 400m hurdles in 1:18.43.
Alyse Baughman added a PR in the discus at 30.97m. Maddie Hanulcik had a season best 5:01.50 in the 1500m.
Kalamazoo women's track and field returns to action for the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, presented by Collegiate Credit Union, on Thursday and Friday, hosted by Hope College in Holland, Mich.
