Kalamazoo College's Ava King earned All-Great Lakes Region honors from the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), as the organization announced its NCAA III All-Region teams Tuesday.
A sophomore from Traverse City, Mich. (Traverse City West), King earned recognition for her performance in both the 800m and 1500m events.
King posted the eighth-fastest 800m time in the region at 2:15.28 in prelims at the 2026 MIAA Outdoor Championships, going on to a second-place finish in the conference. She also finished second in the MIAA in the 1500m before posting a personal-best time and #2 in the region 4:30.84 at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite.
This season, King led the way on the track for Kalamazoo women's track and field, also earning an All-Region honor for indoor season as part of the Hornets' Distance Medley Relay. She earned All-MIAA honors as well in outdoor season, the first in program history.
