The Kalamazoo College men's and women's track and field teams were honored as 2025-26 US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams. Ava King also earned All-Academic Athlete honors as an individual for the Hornets.
NCAA III track & field teams must maintain a team GPA of at least 3.10 to be eligible for the honor. Individual athletes are recognized for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 along with finishing the season among the top 50 individuals in the country in a single event.
The Hornets' women's team earned a 3.50 GPA in 2025-26, while the men's team cumulatively held a 3.30 GPA for the year.
King, a sophomore from Traverse City, Mich. (Traverse City West), had the #31 time in DIII in the 1500-meter run in outdoor season in 2026, with a time of 4:30.84.
Kalamazoo track & field returned to competition in 2025-26 after a hiatus of over 40 years, collecting several All-MIAA and All-Region honors in its first year back in action.
