The Kalamazoo College baseball team continued climbing both major national polls this week, now in the top 10 of both polls at #8 in the D3baseball.com ranking and #9 in the ABCA top 25, both highest in program history.
Kalamazoo is currently 26-3 on the season after taking two out of three games from #23/#26 Adrian College, the MIAA preseason favorite, this past weekend.
The Hornets are excelling up and down the lineup this year, currently ranking in the top 10 in the country in on-base percentage (.473, #7), batting average (.359, #4), stolen bases (109, #4), scoring (11.7 runs per game, #3), and hit by pitch (92, #1).
Kalamazoo baseball and Calvin University postponed their scheduled game for Tuesday, with plans in place for the game to be made up Wednesday, April 15th at 4 p.m. in Grand Rapids.
