ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's indoor track and field team competed in the GVSU Mike Lints Alumni Meet Saturday, with several strong performances.
Aidan Paquin set a new PR in the 200m at 23.31, good for 11th out of over 50 runners including several NCAA DII and NAIA athletes. had the Hornets' best time in the 60m at 7.34, just .05 away from his best mark.
Ethan Romey earned a 10th place finish out of over 25 athletes in the shot put at 12.85m, and set a new personal best in the weight throw at 11.58m. Bram Derksen set a personal best mark of 53.18 in the 400m, running just off his PR in the 60m hurdles at 8.80.
Kalamazoo men's indoor track and field returns to Grand Valley State for its annual Big Meet next weekend on Friday starting at 2 p.m. and Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
