Ruby Hogan was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A senior midfielder from Cedar, Mich. (Glen Lake), Hogan posted back-to-back hat tricks last week for Kalamazoo College women's soccer and now has 10 goals and four assists in her last four games.

First, Hogan scored the second, third and fourth goals in a 7-1 win at Alma on Tuesday, adding an assist in the second half. Then, the Hornets had a field day at Alverno on Saturday, with Hogan scoring the second, fifth and 12th goals along with an assist in an 18-1 win, with the 18 goals scored tying the program record, first set on Oct. 27, 1998.

Hogan also earned MIAA Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts, the second time she has earned the honor in her career. A three-time All-MIAA honoree including first team recognition last season, Hogan currently leads Kalamazoo and the MIAA in goals (13, T-#6 DIII), assists (6, T-#27 DIII), and points (32, #3 DIII).

Kalamazoo women's soccer hosts Adrian College Wednesday at 5 p.m. on MacKenzie Field for the Hornets' MVP game.
