ANGOLA, Ind. – The Kalamazoo College men's indoor track and field team competed at the Trine Sean Brady Invitational Saturday for its second competition of the season.
In track events, Carson Cook and Henry Cox both finished in the top five in the mile run, with Cook at 4:35.01 and Cox just behind him at 4:35.15. Bram Derksen and Elliott Anderson finished second and third in the 60m hurdles, at 8.76 and 8.99, respectively. Aidan Paquin earned a fourth-place finish in the 200m at 23.91.
In field events, Ethan Romey finished third in the shot put with a distance of 13.89m, and Derksen came in fourth on the pole vault at 3.55m.
Kalamazoo men's indoor track and field will head to Grand Valley State for the Bill Clinger Classic on Friday, with the meet getting underway at 1 p.m.
