WARRENVILLE, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team finished fourth out of 20 teams at Wheaton College's Gil Dodds Invitational on Saturday.
The Hornets were led by
Carson Cook who finished 13th overall with a time of 26:13.
Jack Schneider finished 17th at 26:21.
Drew Abbott followed in 30th place at 26:48.
Nolan Park finished inside the top 50 at 48th with a time of 27:17.
"The men's team ran very strong despite the muggy conditions and was only beat by three points by the 9th-ranked Midwest Region team of Wheaton," said Head Coach
Kyle Morrison. "The guys also took down Wabash and DePauw from the Great Lakes Region handily."
Kalamazoo is scheduled to compete next at the Louisville Cross Country Classic on Saturday, Oct. 4.
