Carson Cook was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.
A sophomore from Brighton, Mich. (Hartland), Cook finished No. 12 in the MIAA Men's Cross Country Championships Saturday (Nov. 1) with an 8k time of 25:34.9.
Cook earned Second Team All-MIAA Honors for that performance, which helped Kalamazoo to a third-place finish as a team. It was the Hornets' highest finish at the MIAA Championships since 1998.
Kalamazoo men's cross country is back in action at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Saturday, Nov. 15 in Louisville, Ky. at 11:15 a.m.
