"We knew it was going to be a challenging day with the heat, but both teams showed up and competed quite well," said Head Coach
Kyle Morrison. "I was impressed with the progression even over the last week since we raced our season opener. The men gained some more confidence and went out a bit faster today. We have three weeks of training ahead but I am very excited to see our veterans continue to bring this really strong group of first years along."
The Hornets are back in action on Oct. 4 at the Pre-National meet hosted by Rose-Hulman.
