NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team lost its season opener 9-0 at North Central College on Saturday.

Playing at the Naperville Tennis Club, the host Cardinals won all three doubles matches before winning the six singles matches.

Adnan Alousi/Gabe Vidinas lost 8-5 at one doubles, the closest defeat by the Hornets in doubles.

Both players went to super tiebreaks in singles. Vidinas lost 6-2, 6-7(3), 10-6 at one singles. Alousi fell 2-6, 6-2, 10-6 at two singles.

Kalamazoo is back in action next Sunday, Feb. 11, at Oberlin College.
