TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's cross country team competed in the "Open" and "Championship" races at the NCAA III Pre-Nationals hosted by Rose-Hulman Friday night.
The Hornets finished 13th out of 16 teams in the Open race before finishing 16th out of 44 of the top Division III teams in the Championship race.
Paige Anderson finished eighth overall in the championship race with a time of 21:45.
Ava King finished 81st at 32:01.
Nora O'Leary was 126th at 23:38.
Maya Alkema was 127th at 23:38.
Alison Hankins was the fifth scorer, finishing 152nd at 23:56.
In the open race,
Elise Elliot led the Hornets with a time of 26:02 to finish 58th overall.
Alisa Mason was 91st at 27:13.
Alex Mason was 95th at 27:19.
The Hornets are back in action on Oct. 19 at the Augustana Inter-Regional Invite.
