Coach
Kyle Morrison stated, "This group is so special. We've climbed 16 spots in the region over last few years and it is a tribute to our seniors. They have helped shape this culture into what it is today and also reached levels of success I don't think they knew were possible 3 years ago. We had a goal of top 5 and a potential team qualification for Nationals this year but came up 40-50 points shy but what a brilliant effort regardless. Paige had a stellar day and looks poised for a great National meet next week. She also has mentored
Ava King and
Nora O'Leary (both top 50) so intentionally. Seniors
Alison Hankins and
Haleigh Nower left everything out on the course and have been counterpoints to this team for their four years. Juniors
Maya Alkema and
Elise Elliott had strong races and take the reins of a very strong team heading into next year. So lucky to work with such dedicated and talented young women".
The NCAA Division III National Championships will be held on Nov. 23
rd in Terre Haute, IN.
