Kalamazoo College's
Paige Anderson was named MIAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Monday.
A senior from Troy, Mich. (Troy), Anderson won the 2024 MIAA Championship meet last Saturday at Calvin with a time of 20:57, 12 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Anderson is Kalamazoo's first MIAA women's cross country champion since Allison Iott won the event in 2008.
As winner of the championship meet, Anderson was also named MIAA Most Valuable Runner and an All-MIAA First Team honoree.
This is Anderson's third MIAA Runner of the Week award this season and fourth in her career.
Kalamazoo returns to action at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regional held Nov. 16 in Shelbyville, Ind.
