Men's Tennis Clinches Share of MIAA Championship With Win at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team clinched at least a share of the MIAA championship with a 6-3 win at Trine on Wednesday. The Hornets can win the title outirght with a win at Calvin on Saturday.

Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches before winning four of the six singles matches on Wednesday.

Adnan Alousi/Casey Johnson won 8-1 at one doubles. Peter Fitzgerald/Louis Landreau won 8-3 at two.

Fitzgerald won 6-3, 6-2 at one singles. Alousi won 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at two. Johnson won 6-0, 6-3 at three. Landreau won 7-5, 6-1 at four.

Kalamazoo enters the final regular season match ranked 14th in the region with an 8-7 overall record (5-0 MIAA).
