Men's Tennis takes down Hope

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team continued its strong start to MIAA play with an 8-1 win over Hope on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hornets took two and three doubles before losing one doubles 9-8 in a tiebreak to head into singles play with a 2-1 lead. 

K was dominant in singles, winning all six matches. Elan Dantus was the first off the court with a 6-3, 6-0 win at three singles. Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at four and Alex Cadigan was victorious 6-0, 6-1 at five. Henry Fuchs was the final Hornet off the court, grinding out a 6-2, 4-6, 11-9 win at six.

K will host Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday, April 13th at 5 p.m.
