The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team lost 6-3 inside Calvin's Huizenga Tennis & Track Center on Wednesday.
Calvin held a 2-1 lead after wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles. Alan Faber and David DeSimone won 8-4 at No. 3 doubles.
The Knights clinched the match with wins at No. 1, 2, 5, and 6 singles.
Mike Korn won in three sets at No. 3 singles, 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-0 while DeSimone won in three sets at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4.
The loss is Kalamazoo's first in conference play since 2003 and just the third since 1935.
Kalamazoo returns home to face Albion on Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m.
