The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team lost 8-1 at the University of Chicago on Sunday.
Chicago is ranked No. 7 in the Central Region while Kalamazoo is ranked No. 9.
The host Maroons won two of the three doubles points before sweeping all six singles matches in straight sets.
Peter Rothstein and Stephen Hanselman won 8-6 at No. 1 doubles.
Mike Korn had the closest match in singles, losing 7-6(2), 6-2 at No. 4.
The Hornets return to action on March 2nd when they host Elmhurst College and Case Western Reserve University.
