BEREA, Ohio – The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team lost at Baldwin Wallace University Saturday, 1-0.
In a scoreless first half, the Hornets had seven shots to six for Baldwin Wallace, but the Yellow Jackets had a 2-0 advantage in shots on goal.
Baldwin Wallace scored early in the second half with a goal in the 47th minute to take the lead. The Yellow Jackets held that lead to the finish, outshooting Kalamazoo 11-9 overall and 4-0 in shots on goal.
Brody Adalbert made three saves in goal for the Hornets. Lucas Ruiz and Ryan Pietsch led the offensive effort with two shots apiece.
Kalamazoo men's soccer heads to Ada, Ohio for a matchup with Ohio Northern University Sunday at 4 p.m. to wrap up non-conference play.
