GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team lost its regular season finale 11-6 at Calvin University Wednesday night.
The score was tied 2-2 just five minutes into the contest. Calvin scored midway through the first and again in the second to take a lead (4-2) that was never relinquished. Kalamazoo made it a 4-3 game before trailing 6-3 at halftime.
Calvin outshot Kalamazoo 36-26 overall despite Kalamazoo holding a 17-16 edge in shots on goal. Calvin won 17 of the 20 faceoffs.
Max Plesscher scored two goals to lead the Hornets scoring.

Lukas Graff had a team-high five caused turnovers.
Ronin Honda was credited with three. Jack Bungard had four ground balls and four caused turnovers. Max Sexton, and
Brody Quinn each had three ground balls.
The Hornets will await official pairings for the MIAA Tournament scheduled to begin Saturday, April 25. Kalamazoo's opponent and location will be posted on the schedule and results page.
