RICHMOND, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's golf team won the two-day Earlham College Spring Invitational at Richmond Elks Country Club this weekend. Kalamazoo shot 343 on Saturday and 338 on Sunday for a combined 681.
Shawnee State finished second (754) in the five-team tournament.
Jacey Merkle earned Medalist honors with a combined 156 (78-78).
Ellie Britt was second overall at 158 (77-81).
Gabrielle Sluss tied for fourth at 179 (93-86).
Mary Carstensen was Kalamazoo's fourth scorer at 190 (97-93).
Kalamazoo is scheduled to compete at the MIAA Spring Finale April 24-25 in Ottawa Lake, Mich.
