Kalamazoo College placed two women's golfers, Ellie Britt and Jacey Merkle, on Second Team All-MIAA. The pair also tied for the lowest average round score in a season in program history, at 79.6.
Britt, a sophomore from Lake Orion, Mich. (Lake Orion), had a season average of 79.8 in MIAA competition, ninth-best in the conference and the fourth-best mark in Hornets history. Her season was highlighted by earning Co-Medalist honors at the Hornet Fall Invite with a 78, and winning Medalist outright at the Steven Tyler Memorial with a 74.
A sophomore from Saugatuck, Mich. (Saugatuck), Merkle had a season average of 78.7 in conference matches, eighth-best in the conference and the second-best MIAA average in program history. She became the first three-time medalist in a single season for Kalamazoo, winning the MIAA Jamboree #1 with a 74, earning Co-Medalist at the Hornet Fall Invite shooting a 78, and earning Medalist honors at the Earlham Spring Invitational by going 78-78.
The All-MIAA honor was the second in a row for Britt, while it was the first for Merkle. It was the first time since 1991 and just the second season in Kalamazoo women's golf history with multiple All-MIAA performances. The Hornets also had each of the team's three lowest rounds in program history this season: a 309 at The Medalist (9/6/25), a 313 at Pine River (10/11/25), and a 315 at Thornapple Pointe (9/22/25).
