RICHMOND, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team tied for third at the two-day Earlham College Spring Invitational at Richmond Elks Country Club this weekend. Kalamazoo shot 310 on Saturday and 311 on Sunday for a combined 621 to tie Hocking College.
Franklin College won the 10-team event with a combined 611. Shawnee State was second at 618.
Jack Hackwell tied for seventh overall to lead the Hornets with a 152 (78-74).
Emiliano Alvarado Rescala shot 155 (79-76) to tie for 15th overall.
Gurnav Jeet Singh Bhatia tied for 17th at 156 (74-82).
Ethan Daugherty was Kalamazoo's fourth scorer at 158 (79-79).
Kalamazoo is scheduled to compete at the MIAA Spring Finale April 29-30 in South Haven, Mich.
