LISLE, Ill. – The Kalamazoo College softball team was defeated 7-0 and 5-2 in a doubleheader at Benedictine University on Wednesday.
Benedictine scored runs in four of their six innings while holding Kalamazoo to two hits in the game.
London Rabb had a pair of singles and two stolen bases in the leadoff spot.
Game two was tied 2-2 in the top of the third before Benedictine regained the lead in the bottom half and added a run in the fourth and sixth innings to make it 5-2.
Kalamazoo had six hits in game two led by
Delaney Lee with two.
Jaycee Rider and
Grace Rocco each drove in a run.
Kalamazoo is scheduled to open conference play at Saint Mary's on Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m.
