KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team was defeated 13-3 by Concordia (Wis.) at home Saturday afternoon.
Kalamazoo scored the first goal of the game but trailed 2-1 after the first quarter. The visiting Falcons outscored Kalamazoo 5-1 in the second to take a 7-2 lead into halftime. Concordia outscored Kalamazoo 6-1 in the second half for the 13-3 final.
Concordia outshot Kalamazoo 42-23 overall, 21-10 on goal. The Falcons won 12 of the 19 faceoffs.

Teige Bredin each had a goal for Kalamazoo. Adkins also had an assists and four ground balls.
Jack Bungart led the defense with three caused turnovers and six ground balls.
Max Plesscher was credited with two caused turnovers and five ground balls.
Brody Quinn had four ground balls.
Tony Valade was credited with eight saves in goal.
Kalamazoo returns to action on Feb. 25 with a 4 p.m. contest at Wilmington.
