ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team won 1-0 at Augustana University Tuesday afternoon.
Madie Miller scored on a loose ball in front of the net in the 41
st minute for the game's only goal.
Kalamazoo outshot Augustana 15-5 overall, 8-4 on goal. The Hornets also had nine corner kicks to Augustana's zero.
Jess Forbis was credited with four saves in goal in the shutout.
Kalamazoo (4-0-1) returns home to host Concordia Chicago on Saturday, Sept. 13, followed by Illinois College on Sunday, Sept. 14.
