Women's Soccer Shuts Out Concordia Chicago 2-0

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team defeated Concordia Chicago 2-0 at home Saturday afternoon.

Elle Bernas scored in the 12th minute to give the Hornets the 1-0 lead (Maeve Nolan assist).

Bernas scored again in the 67th minute to take the 2-0 advantage (Lexi Gross assist).

Kalamazoo outshot Concordia 29-4 overall, 14-1 on goal.

Simmy Magnan saved the one shot on goal she faced to earn the shutout.

Kalamazoo (5-0-1) is back in action Sunday morning when the Hornets host Illinois College at 11 a.m.
