KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team fell 3–0 to Albion in the MIAA opener Tuesday night inside Anderson Athletic Center, 25–16, 25–20, and 25–16.
Kalamazoo hit .160 as a team while Albion finished at .356.
Juliette Bournay led Kalamazoo with eight kills. Savannah Chapie added five kills while hitting .500, and Tatum Casper and Mya Parks also recorded five kills each. Brittany Miller contributed four kills.
Makala Goddard and Bella Lewis each tallied 10 assists, while Rachel Meston led the defense with 14 digs.
At the service line, Meston and Olive Ryder each recorded one ace.
The Hornets are back in action Saturday, Oct. 4, when they travel to Olivet for a 1 p.m. MIAA matchup.
