KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo College volleyball team dropped a three-set match to Anderson University on Tuesday night inside the Anderson Athletic Center, 25–19, 25–22, 27–25.
Anderson hit .203 in the match compared to .123 by Kalamazoo.
Brittany Miller led the Hornets with eight kills, while Savannah Chapie added six kills and three blocks. Tatum Casper chipped in seven kills and two block assists, and Mya Parks finished with four kills. Quaneice Dillard contributed five kills and a block.
Setting duties were split between Makala Goddard (17 assists) and Bella Lewis (15 assists, two aces). Rachel Meston led the back row with 15 digs, followed by Ashley Zollman with 13 and Miller with nine.
As a team, Kalamazoo finished with 36 kills, 58 digs, six blocks, and five aces, including two from both Miller and Lewis.
The Hornets (7-8) host Dominican University on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 4 p.m.
