Ben Maurice was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Council) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A senior defensive back from Oak Park, Mich. (Berkley), Maurice had four total tackles (3 solo) in Kalamazoo's 27-0 shutout of Anderson University on Saturday, Sept. 20. He also had an interception return of 69 yards for a touchdown in the win.

Maurice has five total tackles on the season.

Kalamazoo (3-0) opens MIAA play at Calvin on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m.
