FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in four sets by Earlham and Franklin on Saturday at the Franklin Invitational.
Earlham d. Kalamazoo 19-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-14
Earlham hit .237 in the match compared to .156 by Kalamazoo.
Brittany Miller led the Hornets with 11 kills.
Tatum Casper finished with 10.
Taylor Stephens had seven.
Makala Goddard led Kalamazoo with 17 assists and 11 digs.
Bella Lewis had 10 assists.
Rachel Meston had a team-high 18 digs.
Ashley Zollman finished with 10.
Franklin d. Kalamazoo 22-25, 25-21, 24-26, 24-26
Franklin hit .212 in the match compared to .199 by Kalamazoo.
Tatum Casper led the Hornets with 16 kills and a .364 attack percentage.
Taylor Stephens finished with 10 kills.
Savannah Chapie added eight kills with six digs.
Makala Goddard had a team-high 29 assists.
Bella Lewis had 14 assists.
Rachel Meston led Kalamazoo with 20 digs.
Ashley Zollman had 11 digs with five aces.
Bella Lewis also had 11 digs.
Brittany Miller had 10 digs with five kills.
