WOOSTER, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team was defeated 4-0 at The College of Wooster on Saturday. The host Scots (6-1-1) are currently ranked sixth in Region VII. Kalamazoo fell to 6-2-1 with the loss.
Wooster scored the game's first goal in the fourth minute. The Scots scored again in the 14th and 37th minutes to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. Wooster made it 4-0 with a goal in the 49th minute and carried that score to the end.
Wooster outshot Kalamazoo 20-13 overall, 6-4 on goal.
Ruby Hogan led the Hornets with four shot attempts.
Mia Crites had two shots on goal.Â
Kalamazoo held a 9-7 edge in corner kicks.
The Hornets return home to host No. 6 University of Chicago on Sunday, Sept. 21, at 3 p.m.
