WARRENVILLE, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College women's cross country team finished fourth out of 18 teams at Wheaton College's Gil Dodds Invitational on Saturday.
The Hornets were led by
Ava King who finished 10th overall with a time of 22:49.
Nora O'Leary was one spot behind just a tenth of a second behind.
Allison Mayer finished 24th at 23:29 followed by
Maya Alkema in 26th at 23:30.
"The women's team beat the 7th-ranked Midwest Region team of Wheaton on their home course," said Head Coach
Kyle Morrison. "We were down our fourth runner due to injury and just missed 8th-ranked DePauw."
Kalamazoo is scheduled to compete next at the Louisville Cross Country Classic on Saturday, Oct. 4.
