KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team defeated The University of Olivet in four sets in a non-conference match Tuesday night inside Anderson Athletic Center, 25-15, 29-27, 17-25, 25-11.

The second set featured 21 tie scores and 11 lead changes.

Kalamazoo hit .179 in the match compared to .066 by the Comets.

Scarlett Hosner led Kalamazoo with 12 kills and a .385 hitting percentage.

Tatum Casper added 11 kills and three block assists.

Brittany Miller finished with 10 kills and a team-high 15 digs.

Savannah Chapie added seven kills and a .417 hitting percentage. Taylor Stephens also had seven kills. 

Bella Lewis had 18 assists with 11 digs. Makala Goddard had 18 assists with eight digs and three aces.

Mya Parks led the Hornets with five block assists.

Kalamazoo (6-5) returns to action Friday night with a match against Wilmington College at Franklin College.
