KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team defeated Illinois College 4-0 on Sunday at MacKenzie Field. The Hornets improved to 6-0-1 on the season while the Lady Blues fell to 3-3-1.
Maeve Nolan scored first for the Hornets in the fifth minute. Nolan scored again in the 22nd minute with an assist credited to
Savannah Norman.
Kalamazoo went up 3-0 on
Madie Miller's goal in the 32nd minute (
Ruby Hogan assist).
Ruby Hogan scored off a header in the 53rd minute (
Savannah Norman assist) to put Kalamazoo on top 4-0.
Kalamazoo outshot Illinois 27-10 overall, 15-4 on goal.
Jess Forbis made four saves in goal for the Hornets.
Kalamazoo returns to action at Elmhurst on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. CT.
