CHICAGO - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team split a pair of matches at North Park University's Windy City Invite on Saturday. Kalamazoo defeated Franklin 3-1 in the morning before falling to Illinois College 3-1 in the afternoon.
Savannah Chapie was selected to the All-Tournament Team.

Franklin hit .145 in the match compared to .059 by Kalamazoo, but the Hornets had 14 aces in the match compared to five by the Grizzlies.
Brittany Miller had nine kills with seven digs and three aces.
Savannah Chapie also had nine kills and a .533 attack percentage with four block assists.
Taylor Stephens finished with seven kills.
Tatum Casper had five kills with five block assists.
Mya Parks also had five block assists.
Makala Goddard led the team with 19 assists.
Bella Lewis had 10 assists.
Rachel Meston had a team-high 18 digs with four aces.
Ashley Zollman had 14 digs with four aces.
Illinois College d. Kalamazoo 25-20, 14-25, 26-24, 25-20
Kalamazoo hit .126 compared to .122 by Illinois. Illinois held a 10-9 edge in aces.
Tatum Casper and
Scarlett Hosner each had eight kills to lead the Hornets.

Mya Parks had six kills with seven blocks.
Bella Lewis led the team with 22 assists.
