ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team lost the series opener at Adrian College 4-1 on Friday.
Kalamazoo took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth on a sacrifice fly by
Cade Preissing. Adrian followed with three runs in the bottom half before adding another run in the eighth and holding on for the 4-1 win.
The Bulldogs finished with six hits in the game while holding Kalamazoo to four.
Cooper Mills,
Ryar Rinehart,
Caleb Moore and
David Stechow each had a hit for Kalamazoo. Mills and Moore each had a double.
The two teams are scheduled to complete the series on Saturday with a doubleheader in Kalamazoo beginning at 1 p.m.
