CHICAGO, Ill. – The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team fell to No. 22 University of Chicago, 22-3, on Wednesday night. With the loss, the Hornets drop to 0-3 on the season.
Ella Spooner led Kalamazoo with two goals and two draw controls, while Morgan Vasquez added a goal, three draw controls, and one ground ball.
Julia Kozal paced the team with five draw controls and contributed three caused turnovers.
In goal, Kaitlyn Grice recorded eight saves, while Jordan Flink added six.
The Hornets will look to bounce back in their home opener on Saturday, March 1, when they host Capital University at noon.
