KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team was defeated 93-40 by No. 9 Hope College Saturday afternoon inside Anderson Athletic Center.

Hope shot 40.3 percent overall compared to 26.9 percent by Kalamazoo. The Flying Dutch outscored Kalamazoo 45-6 on points off turnovers and 48-14 on points in the paint.

Scarlet Hosner led Kalamazoo with 11 points and four rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench.

Ruby Hogan scored seven points with four rebounds and three assists.

Taylor Dinda added five points. Lauren Vanderstelt scored two points with a game-high nine rebounds and seven blocked shots.

Kalamazoo returns to action against Pacific (OR) on Dec. 17 in the Oglethorpe Classic hosted by Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.
