KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost to Colorado College Sunday at Anderson Athletic Center, 83-67.
Colorado College built a 33-23 lead at halftime, shooting 37.1% from the floor compared to 30.8% for the Hornets.
Both teams got hot from three-point line early in the second half, making six of their first eight shots from deep. Kalamazoo cut the deficit to eight, 62-54, at the 8:26 mark, but the Tigers held off the rally to earn the win.
Carter Bandemer led the Hornets with 14 points along with three rebounds and two assists. Patrick Perez paced the team in rebounds with seven, adding 12 points and two steals.
JJ Stevens chipped in 10 points off the bench for Kalamazoo. Connor Kouki had eight points along with three rebounds and three assists.
The Hornets (1-3) will face Bluffton (0-2) on Friday at 7 p.m. at Anderson Athletic Center.
