Volleyball Falls at Saint Mary's Saturday

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost, 3-0 (19-25, 20-25, 21-25) at Saint Mary's Saturday.

Saint Mary's hit .295 in the match, while the Hornets hit .173.

Brittany Miller led Kalamazoo with 10 kills to go along with eight digs and three aces. Ava Bechler had five kills and four blocks, while Tatum Casper had seven kills, hitting .316, with two blocks. Savannah Chapie led the Hornets with a .455 hit percentage with five kills.

Makala Goddard contributed 16 assists, while Bella Lewis had 14. Rachel Meston anchored the Kalamazoo defense with 12 digs, adding two assists.

The Hornets return home for the regular season finale against Adrian on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Anderson Athletic Center.
