KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team earned a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Oberlin on Senior Night night inside Anderson Athletic Center. The Hornets won by set scores of 16–25, 25–19, 25–22, 22–25, and 15–8.
Oberlin hit .126 as a team while Kalamazoo finished at .119.
Brittany Miller led the Hornets with 14 kills while hitting .214 with five service aces and 13 digs. Ava Bechler added nine kills with a .400 attack percentage, and Quaneice Dillard tallied 10 kills. Tatum Casper contributed eight kills while hitting .231.
Makala Goddard set up 22 assists, while Bella Lewis added 16. Rachel Meston anchored the defense with 24 digs and added two aces. Mya Parks led the team with seven block assists as the Hornets had 20 overall.
Kalamazoo totaled 13 service aces and 82 digs in the victory.
The Hornets (10–15, 1–5 MIAA) return to conference action Saturday, Nov. 1, at Saint Mary's.
