OLIVET, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team tied at Olivet Tuesday, 2-2. The Hornets' record now stands at 3-8-3 (1-2-2 MIAA), while Olivet moves to 1-7-3 (0-3-1 MIAA).
The Comets had the only goal of the first half, scoring in the 37th minute.
Kalamazoo evened the score as Evan Pollens-Voigt scored in the 59th minute, assisted by Elijah Vue.
The Hornets then grabbed the lead on Ben Battreall's goal in the 66th minute, with an assist from Eamonn Burns.
In the 79th minute, Olivet scored again to tie the score at 2-2, which held until the final whistle.
Jackson Janderwski made eight saves in the draw. Kalamazoo had 12 corner kicks in the match to just one for Olivet.
The Hornets are on the road again for their next match, at Trine on Saturday at 7 p.m.
