Women's Soccer Remains Undefeated in MIAA Play With Tie at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team tied at Trine Monday, 1-1, in a game that was rescheduled from Saturday due to inclement weather. The Hornets' record now stands at 9-3-4 (3-0-3 MIAA), while Trine sits at 6-4-4 (2-2-1 MIAA).

Trine had the only goal of the first half, scoring in the 13th minute.

Kalamazoo evened the score on a corner kick opportunity in the 64th minute, with Ruby Hogan setting up Elle Bernas for her seventh goal of the season.

Jess Forbis made two saves in the match. The Hornets topped the Thunder in shots, 10-8, shots on goal, 6-3, and corner kicks, 8-3.

The Hornets return home for the final home game of the season Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Field against Calvin. It will be the Most Valuable Professors game for women's soccer, with the team's seniors each honoring a member of the Kalamazoo College faculty.
