KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team fell 3–0 to Trine on Saturday afternoon inside Anderson Athletic Center, with set scores of 26–24, 25–13 and 25–20.
Trine hit .173 as a team while Kalamazoo finished at -.007.
Brittany Miller led the Hornets with eight kills and 16 digs. Savannah Chapie added five kills, and Mya Parks finished with five kills and an ace.
Makala Goddard and Bella Lewis paced the offense with 13 and 14 assists, respectively. Rachel Meston anchored the back row with 26 digs, and Ashley Zollman added 12 digs.
Meston, Goddard and Zollman each had two aces.
The Hornets (9–14, 1–4 MIAA) return to action Wednesday, Oct. 22, when they travel to Calvin for a 6:30 p.m. conference match.
