HOLLAND, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in three sets at No. 12 Hope College on Tuesday, 25-14, 25-22, 25-17.
Hope hit .218 in the match compared to .093 by Kalamazoo.
Scarlett Hosner had seven kills and a .313 hitting percentage to lead the Hornets.
Brittany Miller also had seven kills with eight digs.
Taylor Stephens added six kills on the night.
Makala Goddard had a team-high 13 assists.
Bella Lewis added nine.
Rachel Meston led the Hornets with 17 digs.
Kalamazoo returns home to face Trine University on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m.
