KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team tied against Albion on Tuesday at MacKenzie Field, 1-1. The Hornets' record now stands at 9-3-3 (3-0-2 MIAA), while Albion is 8-3-1 (1-2-1 MIAA).
After a scoreless first half, Ruby Hogan opened the scoring on a free kick from just outside the penalty box in the 66th minute.
The Britons answered with a goal in the 72nd minute to knot the score at one aside.
Kalamazoo outshot Albion 18-3 overall and 9-2 in shots on goal, while also taking nine corners to two for the Britons. Jess Forbis made one save in the draw.
The Hornets travel to Angola, Ind. to face Trine on Saturday at 7 p.m.
