KALAMAZOO, Mich,. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team dropped a 3–0 decision to Carthage on Saturday afternoon inside Anderson Athletic Center, with set scores of 25–16, 25–18, and 25–16.
Carthage hit .257 as a team while Kalamazoo finished at .036.
Savannah Chapie led the Hornets with eight kills while hitting .429. Scarlett Hosner also tallied eight kills, and Brittany Miller added five.
Makala Goddard posted 12 assists and one ace, while Bella Lewis added nine assists and one ace. Rachel Meston led the defense with 21 digs and served two aces.
The Hornets (9–12, 1–2 MIAA) return to action Tuesday, Oct. 14, when they travel to Hope for a 7 p.m. conference match.
