KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team dropped to 7-6 on the season following a 67-56 defeat to Calvin on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 11^th).

The Knights shot 39.7% from the field, 23.1% from behind the arc, and 58.3% on the free-throw line. The Hornets shot 30% from the field and 68% (17-25) from the free-throw line. Calvin outrebounded Kalamazoo 46-45.

Lukas Broadsword and Carter Bandemer lead the Hornets with 12 points apiece. Broadsword shooting 3-6 in the field and 6-8 on the line, while Bandemer was 4-10 from the field, 2-7 from three-point range, and 2-2 on the line.

Broadsword also lead Kalamazoo with seven rebounds and one block.

Nelson Sompa notched 10 points on 5-7 shooting, six rebounds, and three assists. Patrick Perez added seven points, four rebounds, and two assists, while Bradley Eziuka finished with six points, six rebounds, and one assist.

The Hornets will return home on Wednesday, January 15^th at 7:30 p.m. to face Hope.
