RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated 3-0 at Dominican Univesity on Saturday, 25-15, 25-21, 25-22.
The host Stars hit .327 in the match compared to .168 by the Hornets.
Halley Johnson led Kalamazoo with nine kills and six digs.
Savannah Chapie and
Jacky LaFollette each had five kills.
Brittany Miller finished with four kills and six digs.
Ava Bechler and
Ann Lawrence also had four digs apiece.
Makala Goddard led the team with 13 assists.
Jana Molby had seven assists.Â
Taylor Stephens had a team-high eight digs.
Lizzy Rachiele had six digs.
Kalamazoo opens MIAA play on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Albion.
